MFEX Rating
The MFEX Rating™ is based on a five star system where all funds are rated according to performance. The most successful funds are awarded five stars. The least successful only one. The system is based on quantitative assessments of risk-adjusted returns. This indicates the risk contra return ration of a fund in a specific category, related to a
relevant index. The returns are adjusted for management fees.
The funds are rated according to performance against a given benchmark. So if many funds in a certain category perform well, they will all be accorded high marks - and vice versa.
Fund managers who outperform should receive due credit, since actively managed funds benefit
the investors.
Since trading is constantly in progress, MFEX continually validates fund information and fund transactions in real time. This daily monitoring creates a solid basis for the MFEX rating system.
