What will be required from you?

  • This role is responsible for preparing and filing reports to Swedish authorities, including VAT reports, Annual reports, Interim reports, Regulatory reports and Income tax returns.  

  • The job holder will closely work together with Group CFO and Finance teams across MFEX geographies and Euroclear Group and provide knowledge of Swedish regulations and standards.

  • The Financial Accounting controller will also support the management reporting activities of the Group with analytical accounting insight.

  • This role is also responsible for Management of accounting and operational cash transfers linked to the intercompany recharges within the Group.

    Support and advise the Brussels Finance team with knowledge of Swedish regulations and other applicable standards. Support the management reporting teams with analytical reviews when appropriate

  • Monitor the accounting and payments of Intercompany recharges and provide ad hoc support during the transfer pricing review process.

Who are you? Skills? Minimum qualifications?

  • Significant experience (10 years +) of working in the Finance/accounting field within a global/international financial services organization. Prior relevant work experience with an international audit firm is a plus.

  • Deep knowledge of IFRS, ÅRKL, Swedish accounting regulations and significant experience of preparing Tax returns and Annual reports.

  • Experience from the Fin-tech industry and preparing Regulatory reporting to Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority is valuable.

  • Ability to combine independent and team work.

  • Ability to build strong networks internally and to partner and collaborate with other departments and locations  

  • Excellent communication skills with a creative and solution driven mindset.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
