Directly reporting to the Chief Risk Officer of MFEX Group, you will be in charge of supporting the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the global risk control framework:
Executing second line of defense controls on financial and operational risks including information technology & security aspects. This includes collecting necessary
information, ensuring its consistency, and producing relevant risk metrics
Conducting risk identification and assessment exercises, following up on the mitigation of material risks
Supporting the first line of defense in the implementation of key risk indicators and perform control testing exercises
Analyzing operational risk incidents, provide guidance to the first line of defense for the reporting of incidents and the set-up remediation action plans
Supporting the drafting and development of the ICLAAP/ICARA, the Risk Appetite, the risk policies, and methodologies
Reviewing risk assessments on outsourcing, new products, clients, and services, as well as other regulatory requirements as appropriate
Interact with the first line of defense to support, challenge and review risk related matters
Supporting the CRO in risk control activities and for the production of ad-hoc risk analysis and management reporting
