Fast growing development of the company calls for a strong support in the Sales Department. MFEX Spain (Madrid) is opening a new role for an experienced Sales Manager.

What will be required from you?

Reporting into the Global Head of Sales (based in France, Paris) and locally to the Branch Manager of MFEX Spain,

  • Developing a new customer base of distributors in Iberia (Spain, Portugal, Andorra) and also in Latin America, as well as managing relationships with several asset management companies with the objective of negotiating both global and targeted distribution agreements

  • Towards financial institutions such as retail banks, private banks and insurance companies, the candidate will be responsible for sales of an automated solution for custody and trading in funds, a rebate collecting service, and a fund information service as well as other regulatory driven range of new services

  • Towards asset management companies the candidate will be responsible for cross border distribution opportunities and sales of a market infrastructure for distributing funds to global financial institutions.

  • Participating to internal projects for the development of new services for our clients and cooperating with multiple MFEX departments

  • Act as a main contact, both internally and externally, for a range of assigned clients ensuring resolution of any concerns or issues in a timely manner and to the clients' satisfaction




Who are you? Skills? Minimum qualifications?

  • University degree preferably within business administration or economics, finance.  Documented experience of 10 to 15 years in a bank, asset management company or other specialized role in an investment environment. More than 8 years of professional experience in sales or client relations within financial services,

  • Strong understanding of B2B fund distribution process (mutual funds, UCITS and related products)

  • Knowledge of basic back office and/or middle office procedures with regards to funds.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills (business English is mandatory)

  • Autonomous, driven, entrepreneurial and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Very good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
